Full-stack software engineer with 13+ years of experience building and shipping web applications across gaming, fitness, streaming and smart home. I've worked at every layer of the stack, from React and Next.js front-ends to back-end microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
For the past year or so, AI has become central to how I work. I use LLMs daily in my engineering workflow and have invested heavily in Agentic AI, building AI automation workflows and identifying real-life applications of agentic systems, not just in engineering.
Currently part of the Partner Platform team, having previously worked across Smart Home, Web Core, and Customer Care in an international environment. Implemented WebRTC live streaming in a React-based framework, contributed to the development of a new enterprise email platform, and built internal tools to support customer-service operations. Drove early AI adoption within multiple teams, mentored interns, and got to work alongside amazing people.
Worked on Ensono Stacks, an open-source NX-based accelerator platform designed to speed up project delivery - contributing to its architecture and front-end, and establishing patterns adopted across delivery teams. Earlier, re-platformed The Gym Group's consumer website to Next.js on Azure and built a custom Node.js cache manager to reduce origin load and speed up delivery.
Part of the SkyVegas team delivering the Next.js migration on AWS. Contributed to the back-end migration to Apollo GraphQL and co-authored cross-product technical guidelines that standardised front-end practices across teams. Led technical initiatives and mentored graduates. Thankful for an incredible team who looked out for one another during the COVID lockdowns.
My first job in the UK, and what a place to start. Worked across SkyCasino and the Promotions Platform teams - built Scala microservices for a Kafka-based streaming platform on Kubernetes, and a React/Node.js/Socket.IO application optimised for TV displays. Learned a great deal from talented colleagues and improved my English along the way.
A formative experience working with top engineers in Debrecen for an amazing Dutch client. Worked on an enterprise-level responsive web application using a custom AngularJS framework within a Scrum team. Also where I learned to speak English from a Welsh colleague, for which I'll always be grateful.
My first job as a university student. Built a customer-facing JavaEE/JSF/JS self-service app and a cross-platform mobile KPI dashboard for Android and iOS. Grateful to the colleagues who taught me JavaScript and gave me a front-row seat to how a small business runs from the inside.
